Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 6, 2026
Overview
UtilityCove is a free browser-based utility platform. We built it with privacy as a core principle: all tool processing happens locally in your browser and your inputs are never sent to our servers. This policy explains the limited data we do collect and why.
Tool Data — Stays in Your Browser
Everything you type, upload, or generate inside any UtilityCove tool is processed entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. This includes text, files, colors, dates, and any other inputs. None of this data is transmitted to UtilityCove or any third party. When you close the tab, it is gone.
Analytics — Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. This collects anonymous usage data such as which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and which country visitors are from. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect your IP address, which Google anonymizes before storage.
We use this data only in aggregate — to understand which tools are popular and how to improve the platform. We do not use it to identify individual users.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Feedback — Supabase
When you voluntarily submit feedback through our feedback form, that submission is stored in a database hosted on Supabase. Feedback submissions may include the message you write and the page you submitted it from. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other identifying information unless you voluntarily include it in your message.
We use feedback solely to improve the platform. We do not share it with third parties. Supabase stores data on servers located in the European Union. You can read Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
Cookies
UtilityCove itself does not set cookies. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. These are analytics cookies only and are not used for advertising or tracking across other websites.
Advertising
UtilityCove is ad-supported. Ads are served by third-party advertising networks which may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant advertisements. We do not control the data practices of advertising partners. You can manage ad preferences through your browser settings or opt-out tools provided by the relevant ad networks.
Children's Privacy
UtilityCove is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of UtilityCove after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
